HISTORY AND MISSION STATEMENT

Lovaghy Enterprise Inc is a family owned business, which was founded in 2001 by Mr. George Lovaghy to design, manufacture and sell new innovative state-of-the-art inline finishing equipment and other special equipment to printing companies for global consumption. 

Lovaghy Enterprise’s principal focus has been to target web offset printing plants that print high volumes of advertising inserts, newspaper inserts, comic inserts, direct mail, catalogs and other commercial work that can use our equipment with or without the use of separators. 

In 2001 Lovaghy introduced its primary product, which was the Separator Mark II, which featured a very simple, robust, user friendly, compact and reasonably priced separator that could take a stream of nested shingled copies from a press delivery and divide them into two separate streams.

In 2004 Lovaghy realized there could also be a good market for mobile inline quarter folders since high volume printers of advertising inserts could not quarter-fold their products while running multiple nested copies through a Separator/Deserter/Divider.   The idea was to design a mobile quarter folder that could run inline with a press and take delivery of half folded signatures from either the delivery of a press or from a Separator.  With the cooperation of Transcontinental Printing, Lovaghy Enterprise Inc. was provided with a beta test site at the St. Hyacinthe plant to perfect the world’s fastest mobile inline finishing quarter folder.   The quarter folder went through two years of extensive testing, which resulted in a user friendly, state-of-the-art production model that can deal with a wide assortment of page sizes and pagination as specified in our product brochure.  We are proud to say that our new HQF-18 has been running flawlessly in Transcontinental Vancouver since its installation in December 2006.

In August 2007 Lovaghy Enterprise Inc. Introduced the Separator Mark III, which can handle up to three streams of products at the same time.   The separators and quarter folders also allow for other inline finishing equipment to be used such as trimmers prior to quarter folding the product.

Our mission is to provide inline finishing equipment that provides web offset printers with equipment that significantly improves production efficiency.  We realize that in today’s highly competitive market the printer needs every innovative technology available to meet the growing demands from additional printing contracts to improving print capacity.  We realize that there are critical equipment parameters necessary to remain competitive.  A printer has to be able to deal with extra capacity during peak periods and allow for short turnaround times.  Our products quite simply help you to reduce the production costs by enabling you to reduce the headcount in your plant while increasing overall capacity and maintaining quality products.

Lovaghy Enterprise has established good long-standing relationships with top printing companies such as Transcontinental Printing, Quebecor World, Rock Communication, Gannett Offset etc… For instance in 1985 George Lovaghy and John Lovaghy co-founded Lovaghy Technology Inc., which later changed its name to Master Flo Technology Inc.  Most of the Master Flo products you see today are a result of their inventions, which are used by hundreds of printers throughout North America.    We consider the M410 automatic ink leveler to be the best in the world.   Well this is just one of the many products the Lovaghy brothers have developed over the past 22 years.  Our products continue to improve print quality and automate tedious tasks while optimizing the print system.
